Deputies seek public help finding stolen excavator

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — An excavator was allegedly stolen in Georgetown County, and the sheriff’s office is asking for help locating it.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said a 2023 Kubota U55-5 Mini Excavator was stole from the side of U.S. Business 17 and Morse Avenue in Murrells Inlet.

Deputies estimated the machine was stolen sometime between Apr. 16 – 19. If you have any information on the machinery theft, you are asked to contact GCSO at 843-546-5102.
