Holy Smokes BBQ Fest brings top pitmasters to North Charleston for annual celebration

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Holy Smokes BBQ Fest is set to return for its fourth annual celebration, bringing barbecue enthusiasts together at North Charleston’s Riverfront Park on Saturday, November 9.

This year, over 50 of the nation’s top pitmasters and chefs will come together to honor American barbecue’s rich traditions, history, and flavors.

Festival-goers can enjoy a unique experience at Riverfront Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., sampling a wide array of barbecue styles while listening to live music against the scenic backdrop of the Cooper River.

The event features four distinct “barbecue villages”—Texas, Traditional, New School, and Coastal—offering guests the chance to savor a variety of regional barbecue dishes.

Expect to enjoy an impressive lineup of barbecue favorites, from slow-smoked whole hog, pork, and beef ribs to Texas-style brisket and smoked Lowcountry seafood dishes.

General admission tickets grant attendees unlimited samples from each barbecue village, along with access to the musical performances. Drinks will be available for purchase, while VIP ticket holders will enjoy an all-inclusive experience with complimentary beverages and exclusive food offerings.
