Police engaged in minor barricade situation Friday night

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — A barricade situation is happening in West Ashley Friday night. 

Police are on Wappoo Road handling a barricade situation. The suspect is wanted for minor criminal activity, and there is no threat to the public. 

A Charleston Police spokesperson said the situation should be resolved shortly.
