Part of Mount Pleasant roadway shut down due to collision

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A section of a busy Mount Pleasant roadway is shut down Saturday evening due to a collision.

Highway 17 southbound at Anna Knapp Boulevard is blocked off while crews work to clear the scene, according to the Mount Pleasant Police Department.

Traffic is being redirected from Anna Knapp Boulevard onto Johnny Dodds Boulevard.

Police did not say when the roadway would reopen.
