Juvenile injured in Ridgeville shooting

RIDGEVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating an overnight shooting in the Ridgeville area.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to an address on Boat Landing Road shortly after 2 a.m. after receiving reports of gunshots.

A juvenile victim was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries.

The shooting is under investigation by the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
