Officials investigate possible drowning on Lake Moultrie

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a possible drowning on Lake Moultrie.

Law enforcement officials told News 2 that a body washed up on shore at the Short Stay recreational area off Short Stay Road.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, Coroner’s Office, and South Carolina Department of Natural Resources are working the scene.
