1 injured after tree falls in weather-related incident

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A person was injured Monday evening after a tree fell on two vehicles in Dorchester County.

The weather-related incident happened on Wire Road at Murray Cemetery Road. There was also marble-sized hail reported with the cell that passed over the area.

Nearby in Reeseville, a large oak tree fell, knocking down power lines on Maple Branch Road at Twins Lane.

Officials did not say how severe the person’s injuries were. News 2 has reached out for further information.
