North Charleston PD investigating shooting on Commander Road
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police in North Charleston are investigating a shooting that happened near a Charleston County School District board member’s home Tuesday.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Commander Road around 5:30 p.m.
Witnesses said two individuals were firing at one another. One vehicle and two homes were hit by gunfire. However, no injuries were reported.
CCSD Board Member Kevin Hollinshead confirmed that bullets struck his home. Hollinshead told News 2 that he heard several popping noises, grabbed his dog, and took cover.
No arrests have been made. The North Charleston Police Department is investigating.
