The Charleston Place hosting Easter Eggstravaganza
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Place will hold its Easter Eggstravaganza this weekend with children’s activities, live bunnies, and a lavish brunch.
Festivities will begin Saturday morning, when guests will be able to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and pet live bunnies, chicks, and ducks. There will also be a “build-your-own-bouquet” flower bar for purchase. Activities will begin at 11 a.m.
“We are so excited to host our magical Easter celebrations again this year for locals and guests,” said Becky Hubbard, Managing Director, The Charleston Place. “At The Charleston Place, we love celebrating holidays and creating moments for people to connect and share memorable experiences, whether it’s enjoying an over-the-top brunch in The Palmetto Cafe or participating in our complimentary family-friendly activities in the Market Street Circle courtyard.”
Guests and locals can enjoy afternoon tea with the Easter Bunny on Sunday at 11 a.m., featuring pastries, savory bites, and the hotel’s custom tea blend, the Palmetto Peach.
The bunny will be hopping around for photo opportunities during the day.
Finally, on both days, the Palmetto Café will host its popular Easter brunch with stations serving pimento cheese grits, stuffed lamb loin, oysters, and grilled local Mahi Mahi. There will also be an assortment of freshly-baked treats, including Challah Bread French Toast, chocolate croissants, and “Jimmy Red” cornbread.
Reservations for the brunch, breakfast buffet, or the afternoon tea can be made through Resy.
There will not be an Easter egg hunt at the hotel this year.
