Police respond to deadly auto-pedestrian crash on Savannah Highway

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Emergency crews are responding Wednesday to a deadly auto-pedestrian crash.

The Charleston Police Department said the crash happened on Savannah Highway near Skylark Drive.

Northbound lanes are closed while crews respond to the scene. People are asked to avoid the area.
