Sims, DesRosier, Snipes, Brophy Launch Postseason Run at NCAA Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Following an unprecedented run at the Southern Conference Championship en route to a silver-medal team finish, The Citadel cadet-athletes Gylon Sims (125 lbs), Carson DesRosier (149 lbs), Thomas Snipes (165 lbs) and Patrick Brophy (197 lbs) aim to continue challenging expectations at the upcoming NCAA Wrestling Championships as the No. 30, No. 23, No. 23 and No. 25 overall seeds within their respective divisions, launching the three-day, double-elimination tournament Thursday afternoon at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
