Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office hosts job fair for L.C. Knight Detention Center

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Interested in exploring a career in law enforcement? The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a job fair for the L.C. Knight Detention Center.

The job fair will be held Friday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Dorchester County Emergency Operations Center.

Dorchester County Sheriff Sam Richardson says, “At the L.C. Knight Detention Center, we are dedicated to building a strong team committed to public safety, rehabilitation, and community service. As we continue to evolve, we recognize the importance of finding individuals who share our mission and values. I encourage those looking for a meaningful career in law enforcement and corrections to join us at our upcoming job fair.”

The event is open to the public, the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging all prospective candidates to attend.
