Pedestrian killed in Rivers Ave crash identified

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Coroner has identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed in the auto-pedestrian crash on Rivers Avenue.

Mr. Tony Gilson, 54, of Michigan died at MUSC on Feb. 4 at approximately 7:24 a.m. after injuries sustained in the crash.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Rivers Ave and Fuller Street.
