843-767-7000 (Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM ET)
843-767-7008 (Information Desk; Open Daily, 5 AM – 11 PM ET)
Charleston International Airport is located 12 miles from historic downtown Charleston & near the intersection of I-26 & I-526. Arrivals & departures are on the same level; therefore, passengers & meeters & greeters will find good accessibility throughout the airport. The major airlines have ramped loading bridges to/from the aircraft. Some regional jets may require boarding by stairs from the tarmac or the use of a lift-a-loft (check with your airline regarding their boarding policies).
TTY phones are located on the concourses & at the Communications Center.
Charleston International Airport provides 48 hours (two days) free handicap parking to qualified parking patrons. After two days, the prevailing rates of either the parking deck or the surface parking will be charged. To qualify for the two days of free handicap parking, present a valid handicap placard & driver’s license, both of which must be issued by the same state, to the cashier at the time of exit. The licensed driver & person pictured on the handicap vehicle must be in the car at the time of exit to qualify for the free parking.
