Authorities investigate incident involving stolen trailer off Bacons Bridge Road

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating an incident involving a stolen trailer in the Summerville area.

A large law enforcement presence was seen off Bacons Bridge Road around 6 p.m. Sunday.

Witnesses shared video of a what they said was a vehicle fire in a wooded area near the parking lot at Ash & T’s Formals.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office said it was involved in a stolen trailer investigation out of Charleston County.

The incident ended after an accident that included the trailer. No injuries were reported.
