News 2 seeking ‘Remarkable Women’ nominations

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – News 2 wants to recognize the great contributions that women have made to our nation and local communities.

Remarkable Women is part of a nationwide Nexstar Media initiative to honor the influence that women have had on public policy, social progress, and quality of life.

In March, we’ll highlight local women who inspire, lead, and forge the way for other women. It’s not just about one day or one month — it’s about what they do, day in and day out.

We need your help to get there.

If you know of an incredible woman who is making a difference in our community, nominate them by using the form below. One woman will be chosen as the “Lowcountry’s most remarkable woman,” and she’ll receive a $1,000 donation to the nonprofit of her choice and a paid trip to Hollywood where a national winner will be selected.

Nominations will be accepted through Dec. 20.
