Firefighters respond to North Charleston house fire

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Fire Department responded to a house fire on Admiral Drive Friday morning.

Deputy Chief Rainey reported that crews were dispatched around 7:41 a.m. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire within 37 minutes.

The two-story home was vacant, and no injuries were reported.

Investigators are still on the scene working to determine the cause of the fire, but no additional information is available at this time.
