Riverfront Revival to close out Saturday with Hootie and the Blowfish
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Saturday is the second day of a family-friendly music festival at North Charleston’s Riverfront Park.
Riverfront Revival resumes Saturday afternoon, with performances starting at 1 p.m.
Artists set to take the stage include Arrested Development, Jamey Johnson, and Collective Soul.
Grammy award winner and festival founder Darius Rucker will cap the festival with his band Hootie and the Blowfish on the Live Oak Stage.
Need last-minute tickets? You’re in luck; some are still available through the festival website. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Medical University of South Carolina’s Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
One festival-goer traveled from the north to experience the revival.
“We’re excited about the festival. It’s going to be a great time,” said Scotty B. “I heard it’s family-oriented, so we’re looking for a great crowd and an awesome experience.”
Festival goers also have the opportunity to buy merchandise and Lowcountry food favorites while attending.
