Woman arrested weeks after double fatal crash on Patriot Boulevard in North Charleston
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A woman has been arrested weeks after a crash on Patriot Boulevard that left two people dead.
Ashner Nelson, 29, was arrested by the North Charleston Police Department’s traffic unit following a thorough investigation into the August 8 crash.
The crash involved three vehicles on Patriot Blvd. at Club Course Drive late that night. Once at the scene, officers learned that two people had died. Another person, Nelson, was in critical condition.
Nelson had been in the hospital since that crash and was released on Friday. She is being held at the Dorchester County jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
