Raise a glass: Charleston Summer Wine Festival happening Saturday

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Don’t miss the Charleston Summer Wine Festival on Saturday at the Charleston Harbor Cruise Terminal! The event, which runs from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., promises an exciting afternoon of wine, music, and more.

Over 50 different wines, along with mimosas and a selection of beers, will be featured at the festival. Guests can enjoy the event in the air-conditioned indoor space or step out onto the spacious waterside patio. Live music will be performed on the patio, while a DJ keeps the party going inside.

Tickets for the event, are priced at $65. Please note that this event is strictly for those 21 and over; no kids, babies, or pets will be allowed. Additionally, no outside food or beverages are permitted.

The festival is a rain-or-shine event, with no refunds available, though the indoor setting should keep attendees comfortable regardless of the weather. Beer and wine service will end at 6:45 p.m., and the organizers reserve the right to cut off alcohol service to anyone who has had too much.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and avoid drinking and driving. Taking an Uber or Lyft is recommended to ensure everyone’s safety.

Free bottled water will be available throughout the event, but designated driver tickets will not be offered. For a fun and responsible time, guests are reminded to enjoy the festivities safely.
