One shot in road rage incident in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The Mount Pleasant Police Department is investigating after a road rage incident left one shot.

Police responded to the area of 6 Mile and Rifle Range Road on Thursday night and discovered one individual with a gunshot wound.

Authorities say the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

According to Mount Pleasant Police, all parties remained on the scene and there is no threat to the community.

The investigation is ongoing.
