Students in Colleton County to have eLearning day Wednesday

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Students in Colleton County will have an eLearning day on Wednesday following impacts from Tropical Storm Debby.

The district made its decision to have students learn from home based on torrential rainfall and storm damage seen across the county.

All extracurricular and athletic events will be suspended during the closure.

The district will make a decision regarding the next day’s schedule based on assessments of their buildings, roadways, and information from local and state emergency preparedness officials.
