Georgetown County Schools switch to eLearning amid Debby 

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) – Georgetown County School District announced all schools will be closed due to inclement weather associated with Tropical Storm Debby this week.

Students will have eLearning Days for three days during this first week of school. Schools will be closed, and all activities canceled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday amid ongoing storms and what is projected to be record-breaking rainfall.  

GCSD administration “will continue to monitor conditions” across Georgetown County and plans to release follow-up information on Thursday, Aug 8.
