GALLERY: Severe storm damage in Moncks Corner; flipped cars and restaurant damage

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Tropical Storm Debby has caused severe storm damage in the Town of Moncks Corner leaving flipped cars and destroyed restaurants in its path.

Mayor Thomas Hamilton Jr. of Moncks Corner says there are no confirmed injuries at this time but asks residents to stay away from the Walmart area while emergency personnel are on the scene.

The photos indicate the Arby’s on Highway 52 has suffered severe damage.

No tornado has been confirmed for the Moncks Corner area.
