Motorcyclist unharmed after going into water over James Island Connector

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A motorcyclist went over the James Island connector and into the water below, according to the Charleston Police Department.

A passing boat helped the motorcyclist out of the water to the safety of the shore.

Sgt. Terry Cherry said the motorcyclist was unharmed and did not need EMS transport.

No other vehicles were involved.
