Police searching for suspect in Mount Pleasant robbery

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are searching for a suspect connected to a Friday afternoon robbery at a Mount Pleasant business.

Officials tell News 2 that a person walked into a business on Long Grove Drive around 2:22 p.m., took money from a register, and then left.

Police are now searching for the person responsible. They described the person as a white male dressed in black with a hoodie, mask, and blue shoes.

The suspect did not present any weapons during the theft, according to police.
