BCSO: St. Stephen man wanted on 2 felony charges

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Berkeley County deputies are on the hunt for a St. Stephen man wanted on two felony charges.

Brandon Jerell Singleton, 32, of Sunshine Court in St. Stephen, is wanted on charges of Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature and Assault and Battery 1st degree.

According to deputies, on July 7 authorities responded to a complainant in regards to an incident that occurred on Byrnes Drive. The victim says Singleton pulled a gun on her and threatened to kill her.

The victim was at the incident location with a friend and when she went to leave, Singleton tried to physically stop her, reports say.

Officials say Singleton pulled out a firearm, pointed it at the victim and told her, “If you get in that car, I will kill you”. Reports say Singleton also threatened the friend with the firearm.

Deputies attempted to apprehend SIngleton that day, but he fled from authorities.
