North Charleston police searching for truck in crash that killed bicyclist

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD)- The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) is asking for the public’s help locating a vehicle that may have been involved in a deadly crash earlier this month.

Authorities said a pickup truck was traveling on the Northbridge (SC-7), toward West Ashley, around 11:30 p.m. on June 11 when it struck a bicyclist and fled the scene.

The bicyclist died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision, according to NCPD.

The vehicle is described as a 2019-2023 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2500 with “significant” front-end damage.
