Colleton County names Jessica F. Williams as Superintendent of Education

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Colleton County School District Board of Trustees has named its new Colleton County Superintendent of Education for the 2023-2024 school year.

Mrs. Jessica F. Williams is a lifelong Colleton County resident who was educated by the Colleton County School District, officials say.

Mrs. Williams has served as assistant principal, principal and district-level administrator for Colleton County. Her motto for the Colleton County School District is “It’s All About the Kids! The Time Is Now!”

According to the Colleton County School District, Williams embraces the opportunity to continue her service to the Colleton County School District and asks that the community support the district’s efforts to prepare every student to graduate with a 21st-century education.

“Each day is the right day to make a difference in the life of a child,” Mrs. Willams stated.
