Boyd Set to Represent The Citadel at NCAA Wrestling Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Following a brilliant run at the Southern Conference Championship en route to a silver-medal finish, The Citadel graduate student Jeff Boyd (18-11) aims to continue challenging expectations at the upcoming NCAA Wrestling Championships as the No. 32 overall seed in the 149 lb division, launching the three-day double-elimination tournament Thursday morning with a clash against 33rd-seeded Michael Cetta (14-11) of Rutgers at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. The NCAA Wrestling Championships are slated for complete broadcast coverage via ESPN / ESPNU / ESPN+.
