Coast Guard assists disabled sailboat near Pawleys Island

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) – The United States Coast Guard assisted a disabled sailboat Saturday near Pawleys Island.

A boat crew from U.S. Coast Guard Station Georgetown assisted a man aboard a disabled sailing vessel about 10 miles off Pawleys Island, the agency said.

The vessel was towed to Murrells Inlet.

No injuries or medical concerns were reported.
