NPCP: Officers investigate homicide on Otranto Rd

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday night around 6:30 p.m.

Officers responded to the 2800 block of Otranto Rd for a reported single-vehicle collision. After arriving on the scene they found a male inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officials say the vehicle collided with a fence and tree. EMS transported the victim to a hospital, where he died early Sunday morning.

NCPD says no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
