NCPD: 1 man dead following crash on I-526

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on I-526 westbound Saturday night between the Montague and Dorchester Road exits.

Officials have reported that it was a male victim killed in the crash.

Officers closed that section of the interstate for several hours and reopened it around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
