Deputies investigating shooting in Murrells Inlet

MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday morning shooting in Murrells Inlet.

Officials with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened on Avalon Court.

A victim suffered a single gunshot wound, according to deputies.

The shooting is under investigation. No other details were provided.
