Red Cross aids family following North Charleston fire

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The American Red Cross is assisting a family after a fire damaged their home in North Charleston. 

According to the American Red Cross, volunteers are assisting a family of four following a house fire. 

Officials say the fire happened Friday night on Oregon Avenue. 

The Red Cross is providing “financial assistance for immediate needs such as food, clothing, and shelter” for the family.
