Owen Sharnas Earns All-Freshman at SoCon Championships

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – The Citadel served as hosts of Sunday’s SoCon Championships, held at Johns Island County Park. Men’s freshman Owen Sharnas finished on the SoCon All-Freshman Team, becoming The Citadel’s second recipient in this category in the last three years and third in the last four between both genders. Sam Sharnas and Heidi Fortin were the top finishers for the Bulldogs in the men’s 8K and women’s 5K, respectively.
