Driver killed in Wednesday morning crash near Hemingway
WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – One person was killed in an early Wednesday morning crash in Williamsburg County.
Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said a driver of a Chevrolet struck a ditch and a tree before their vehicle caught on fire.
It happened on Douglas Road and Rachel Road around 3 a.m., according to Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, died at the scene.
SCHP is investigating the crash.
