How you can help support Lowcountry Orphan Relief through a supply drive

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – News 2 is partnering with Lowcountry Orphan Relief to collect emergency clothing and essential supplies for abused and neglected children in our area.

Often, when children are displaced due to these unfortunate circumstances, they leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs. That’s when Lowcountry Orphan Relief steps in. They believe that all children should be treated with respect and that their sense of self-esteem should be nurtured by providing them with the necessities of life.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

June 16 through June 20, drop off supplies at Lowcountry Orphan Relief between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. These items will be used to create Care Kits, Toiletry Kits, and Back-to-School packages for children in need. (See below for specifics.) If you can’t make it to LOR, you can drop off your donation at a participating East Bay Deli.

Lowcountry Orphan Relief also has an Amazon Wish List, which will allow you to have items shipped directly to their organization.
