County officials to give quarterly update on Palmetto Commerce Interchange project

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston County Public Works will provide a quarterly construction update Monday on the Palmetto Commerce Interchange project.

County leaders say the project will reduce congestion at surrounding intersections, offer additional travel routes, and improve overall safety and mobility in the area of that intersection with I-26.

Officials are expected to give an overview of the project and updates on recent progress.

They will also discuss what is scheduled to be completed in the next three months.

Monday’s meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Grace Alliance Church (8101 Northside Drive) in North Charleston.
