Saturday shooting injures 3 in North Charleston, police say

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – At least three people were injured in a Saturday night shooting in North Charleston.

Officers responded to an address on Comstock Avenue around 9:35 p.m. amid multiple reports about shots being fired.

North Charleston officers found in person with a gunshot wound at Beech Avenue and Davis Street.

That person was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, officers learned that two other gunshot victims had walked into area hospitals. Their injuries were also non-life-threatening, according to police officials.

“Detectives determined this was a targeted shooting and not a random act of violence,” the agency said in a news release.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
