Two men arrested for armed robbery in North Charleston, according to authorities
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Two men were taken into custody after robbing a victim at gunpoint Thursday morning in North Charleston, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
According to the officers, the victim met with the suspects to purchase a vehicle, but was robbed at gunpoint instead.
Authorities said, when officers got to the scene, they located one man as he fled and went towards Rivers Ave, and the other suspect was found in a room at the Economy Inn and Suites.
The suspects have been identified as 28-year-old Xavier Holmes and 21-year-old Taurus Holmes.
They were both charged with Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm During a Violent Crime, and additional weapons law violations.
