Motorcyclist killed in Sunday morning crash on the interstate

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A motorcyclist was killed in an early Sunday morning crash on the interstate.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to the I-526 west off ramp and I-26 west on ramp around 2:15 a.m.

Police officials said the motorcycle was found lying on the on ramp, and the motorcyclist was located roughly 50 feet below the ramp. 

The crash is under investigation. The motorcyclist has not been publicly identified.
