Man fired shot at vehicle after argument over spilled gasoline, deputies say
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A man is accused of firing a shot into a vehicle at a Georgetown County convenience store.
Deputies responded to Joe’s Quick Mart at South Fraser Street and Pennyroyal Road after a report of a shooting.
The victim told Georgetown County deputies that 22-year-old Harry Oxner, Jr. fired a single gunshot into the driver’s door of his vehicle after an argument over a gasoline spill at the store’s pumps.
Oxner was taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center an a charge of attempted murder.
No injuries were reported.
