SC Aquarium to hold 25th anniversary block party Sunday
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The South Carolina Aquarium will mark its 25th anniversary this month, and they are inviting you to a block party to help celebrate.
The SC Aquarium, which opened in May 2000, will mark a quarter century of serving the Lowcountry as a place for entertainment, education, and a driver of conservation action.
Liberty Square in downtown Charleston will transform into a festival where guests can enjoy various free family activities, including a climbing wall, bounce houses, and face painting.
There will be food truck vendors selling lunch and drinks during the event.
The block party will take place on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Additionally, the SC Aquarium will offer $25 general admission tickets Sunday and Monday; however, the attraction encourages you to purchase tickets in advance as they may sell out.
