Charleston Police investigating robbery on Acacia Street

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning robbery in the West Ashley area.

The Charleston Police Department said its Special Operations Division was responding to Acacia Street, where one person has been taken into custody.

No injuries were reported. Police told News 2 at 10:38 a.m. that crews were clearing the scene.
