Intruder shot, killed during Summerville home invasion

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – A suspect was shot and killed early Wednesday morning during an attempted home invasion.

Deputies with the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Hope Drive around 1 a.m. for an active home invasion.

Officials with the sheriff’s office said deputies arrived to find the suspected intruder had been fatally shot.
