Pawleys Island teen arrested after smash and grab, deputies say
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – An 18-year-old was arrested in connection with a Pawleys Island smash-and-grab.
The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday the incident happened in the parking lot at Ulta Beauty last Friday. The window of a Range Rover was shattered, and a pocketbook was stolen from the vehicle.
Jayden Jerome Holloway-Caldwell, 19, was arrested and charged with theft from a motor vehicle and destruction/damage/vandalism of property.
Officials said forensic evidence collected at the scene led investigators to Holloway-Caldwell.
The investigation is ongoing.
