NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A pair of shootings that left two people dead and three others injured in North Charleston is being investigated as a murder, attempted murder, and suicide.
Officers responded to an address off Ward Avenue late Monday night, where police say a male suspect arrived and shot four people following an altercation. One of the shooting victims appears to have been the suspect’s girlfriend.
Investigators believe the suspect then went to a location on Midland Park Road and took his own life.
The girlfriend and two other injured people were taken to the hospital for treatment. Another person died at the original incident location.
