Coroner identifies man in Rolling Fork Road shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Coroner’s Office identified Tuesday the victim of a deadly shooting outside a North Charleston condominium.

Orealius Nelson Jr., 21, died Sunday from a gunshot wound outside a building on Rolling Fork Road.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to reports of an individual beating on windows and doors, asking for help.

When they arrived, officers found a man on his stomach in the entrance way of some condo units. Life-saving measures were attempted; however, the man did not survive.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is active.
