The Citadel to hold “Long Gray Line” parade for graduating cadets

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Citadel will hold its “Long Gray Line” parade Friday ahead of the military college’s weekend commencement.

The graduating class becomes part of the long gray line of alumni when they transfer command to the upcoming senior class.

Friday’s parade will begin at 3:45 p.m. at Summerall Field. Parking will be available along the fence line of Hampton Park.

If you plan to attend, The Citadel asks that you be seated in the bleachers 15 minutes before the parade is set to begin.

The Corps of Cadets summer commencement will be held Saturday morning starting at 9 a.m.
